Position Description
As Account Manager - IT Staffing, you will be required to identify target accounts, generate new business, develop new customer relationships, build/maintain existing customer relationships, and cross-sell AgreeYa service offerings.
Responsibilities will include
Develops and implements account plans and strategies
Meets sales pipeline requirements to build a growing and predictable revenue stream. Documents actions with regard to planning and sales activities (i.e., sales calls, customer events, new orders, starts, etc.) and shares market intelligence and knowledge with members of the industry verticals and operations.
Achieves assigned quota/target revenue direct margin objectives. Ensures customers are satisfied.
Leads customer prospecting, site presentations, negotiation, contract development, account reviews and account development plans. Identifies prospective customers and opportunities that will align with the company’s core competencies and offerings. Anticipates prospects’ needs, leads prospect in uncovering business opportunities and packages services and products that anticipate and meeting targets’ articulated and unarticulated needs. Acts as a liaison between prospect/customer and AgreeYa vertical industry executives and service areas as necessary.
Presents sales opportunities to management and internal teams and works with a team to deliver and close large and/or complex sales. Ensures that Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Produces sales/business forecasts demonstrating the development of existing business accounts and the acquisition of new business. Develops and implements plans to execute sales forecasts.
Researches and keeps abreast of assigned industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services and other general information related to the assigned market. Recommends strategies to continuously strengthen competitive position in markets.
Works closely with recruiting function to ensure timely submission of resumes, customer feedback and effectively closes, collaborates with field operations to ensure consultants on projects are supported and are satisfied.
Requirements
Knowledge of IT staffing and applicability to the various industries.
Well-developed skill in prospecting customers, building relationship networks, growing sales and closing deals.
Written and verbal communication skills in order to prepare and edit communications (ie, reports, letters, presentations, memoranda, etc.), to present advanced service offerings and articulate solution benefits to a variety of external and internal audiences.
Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, effective listening and persuasion skills in order to initiate and develop productive working partnerships at all levels of an organization to consult and negotiate, to generate mutual respect and understanding within team across customers organizations and to create, nurture and maintain prospect and customer relationships.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and strategy skills to analyze customer needs, research business solutions, develop sales strategies and respond flexibly to contingencies.
Knowledge and understanding of the structure of large business organizations and the technical needs of their respective cross-functional groups and external customers and suppliers.
Skill in uncovering and understanding individual customer needs and business processes/models to order to maximize business offerings sold and deliver integrated cross-platform solutions.
Strong behavior management skills in order to coach, train, negotiate and mentor internally as well as within customers environments.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or with an academic concentration in marketing, communications, or business management is preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years experience demonstrating proven success in prospecting customers, building relationships, growing sales and closing deals including executing a solution selling process and complex sales cycles with senior/executive level management.
Technical background/experience in leadership, senior management or strategic planning roles in the assigned industry/vertical preferred.
Any combination of above education/experience.
