Position Description
Key part of the project team, identifying and defining requirements for the use of technology to improve business processes and systems. Effectively communicates with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like business process, technical configuration, data conversion and interface designs. Research reported problems, plans and proposes a solutions, advocates software and systems and coordinates the problem solving process and ensures that the business standards and requirements are met.
Responsibilities / Requirements
Analysis and Solution Definition Responsibilities
Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry
Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement
Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow for client engagements
Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
Develops project feasibility reports
Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts
Technical Recommendation and Testing Responsibilities
Planning and executing a testing schedule
Work with end-users to define and execute test scenarios and ensure appropriate end user training
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
Works with customer to identify required changes
Communicates needed changes to development team
Determining the potential solutions and testing them for both technical and business compatibility
Project Execution
Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
Takes input from project team members and stakeholders and accurately applies comments/feedback
Communicates and applies project standards
Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients
Client Management
Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
Manages client expectations effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills and highly experienced at dealing with clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups
